The experience
I believe that your photos should feel like you, and never forced, awkward posing to recreate what looked good on Pinterest from someone else's day. That’s why my photography experience is all about capturing your story. From the couples questionnaire, to the engagement session, to your wedding day, the experience I’ve crafted is all about telling your story.
The process
1: Begin the journey
First, simply FILL OUT MY CONTACT FORM with some details about your day. Then, I’ll be in touch within 48 hours with next steps. Then we can schedule a video chat, we’ll talk about your wedding day, vision and hopes for your photos. If you decide I’m the right fit, i'll EMAIL YOU your CONTRACT, and your date will officially land on my calendar!
3: document your engagement
Ready to find a special spot to document your engagement and get some stunning photos?
From gorgeous open feilds, to the sandy beaches of west michigan, I’ll share my best location recommendations. And don’t worry about CHOOSING YOUR WARDROBE OR FEELING AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA because I have a special outfit guide for you. I'll play music, We’ll hangout and have a blast.
4: PLAN THE DAY! 2-4 MONTHS BEFORE “I DO"
I’ll be in touch to schedule a phone call/video chat and we can discuss details! I’ll get your FIRST LOOK/no first look PLANS, and basic day of schedule like ceremony time, dinner etc. Then, I’ll create a custom timeline and chat about possible additional photo locations to get you the dreamiest photos possible!
5: THE PARTY WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!
I’ll be consistently capturing moments while you ENJOY time WITH FAMILY & friends. I’ll step in when I need to, offering a helping hand if we candles lit asap, or if the groomsmen all don't know how to put on a boutonniere (this is a common occurrence and i've mastered this now. haha!)
But most of all, I’ll capture every special moment on the best day of your life!

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
It is completely up to you if you want to go out in the rain, snow, hail, etc.
It's your day and we will do whatever you want! I have umbrellas or we can fully embrace it, get rained on and get some epic photos!! I will always ask what you prefer and we will come up with a plan B.
